Strawberry Shortcake

So, I was craving something sweet again.. Luckily, we had strawberries and eggs and Bisquick.. and all the ingredients to make Strawberry Shortcake.. Hurray! And the recipe is from the back of the Bisquick box!
Ingredients: 
4 cups of fresh strawberries
1/2 cup of sugar
2 1/3 cups of Original Bisquick mix
2/3 cup of milk
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
1 container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions:
1. Mix strawberries and sugar really well until it looks like this.. yum - Set aside, Heat oven to 425 degrees
2. In a new bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk, 3 Tbsp of sugar, and butter until soft.
Drop by 6 spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 10-12 mins of until golden brown. Split warm shortcakes, fill and top with strawberries and whipped topping if you want.
Comments: I topped mine with some left over Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Yummy. Enjoy!
